Edith Lammerts van Bueren

At Wageningen University & Reseach, Department of Plant Breeding, I was appointed as special professor Organic Plant Breeding from 2005-2017. I am still active at the university as emeritus professor, supervising 4 phd students, and teaching on organic plant breeding. Wageningen University & Research in collaboration with Louis Bolk Institute is involved in the Green Breeding Program (2009-2019) which involves breeding several research projects to support organic agriculture (click here for further information). One of the larger projects is Bioimpuls, a breeding program to improve late blight resistance for organic potato (click here for further information).
